About

The Biz Dash 5K

Produced by the St. Louis Sports Commission, the Biz Dash 5K brings St. Louis businesses and their employees together to celebrate our community, build team camaraderie and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. Created in 2016, the event is designed as a Thursday night happy hour wrapped around a 5K (3.1. mi) run/walk. All levels of runners and walkers are invited to participate for their company team, enjoy themselves, mingle with other groups, and receive recognition for their race times and contributions. Known as “St. Louis’ Healthiest Happy Hour,” the Biz Dash Team Village provides a festival atmosphere with tents, music, food, drinks and games for participants to enjoy pre- and post-race.

An Event for Everyone

Any business in the community including corporations, small businesses, start-ups and everything in between is invited to participate. It’s a great opportunity to get outside, have some fun with your colleagues, and compete against other businesses in your industry. Nothing says team bonding like a little friendly competition, right? Think of it as a happy hour event, a networking opportunity, or just a fun activity to do on a week night in Downtown St. Louis . Participants can also complete their 5K virtually if they aren’t in St. Louis or are unable to attend the live event.

All About Health & Wellness

The Biz Dash is St. Louis’ version of the corporate run that has become widely popular in many cities across the country. At the heart of it all is health and wellness. Studies have shown that the healthier (and happier) the employee, the more productive they are in the workplace thereby attributing to a higher achieving organization.

With that in mind, the Biz Dash is the perfect event to add to your company’s wellness program. Talk to your human resources department about incorporating the Biz Dash into your yearly calendar and how you can get wellness points for completing the 5K in person or virtually.
